The Olive Mount project rehouses residents from high-rise blocks into a new residential complex including apartments and bungalows.

The radical modern design of the sheltered accommodation focuses on a central enclosed street which is landscaped to provide a convivial, social environment, protected from the elements, but naturally ventilated.

The scheme forms part of a wider masterplan including public gardens and private spaces, integrating the development with the wider neighbourhood.  The design was developed following intensive involvement of the future residents and the local community.
