This multi-award winning housing scheme has become a flagship project for all involved in promoting design excellence for rural exception site areas.

HLP worked closely with GEDA and the local authority, North Kesteven District Council, to create a design resolution of a high standard that fits in with the village vernacular. As a result, the development comprises of a number of double frontage dwellings, or dwellings with feature gable elevations fronting the street, with adjoining blocks of smaller workers cottages / stable blocks. Modern dormer windows and pitched front entrance canopies provide a traditional aesthetic; the overall design takes precedent from the locality and building relationships within the centre of the village.
