The site at Meadow Lane in South Normanton comprises of the development of ten new luxury homes on a brownfield site.

The site layout is divided into five semi-detached properties that consist of two house types. The first house type pair, which is utilised across the new private drive to the south of the site, incorporates a red brick external finish, whilst the remaining four houses on the northern side use a buff brick. Not only does this create a clear visual distinction between the housetypes, it also relates to how the two private roads are accessed via opposite ends of the site, thus creating an individual identity for both areas.

The external design is married together through the introduction of feature windows and accentuated walls by using a combination of white through colour render and bespoke aluminium ‘pod’ surrounds, which in turn connects the development as a whole.
