A Housing Market Renewal scheme based on a CABE reviewed masterplan prepared by HLP in consultation with local residents.  Phase I delivers a mix of housing to rehouse local residents as part of a phased renewal process.

HLP has been working with a developer-led consortium to plan the renewal of the Queens / Bedford neighbourhood in South Sefton.

We have designed an imaginative plan, developing new character areas within the existing urban grain using CABE’s Building for Life principles and a CABE enabling process.

The scheme was phased to facilitate community rehousing and was seamless between tenures.  The project has revitalised this run-down urban neighbourhood transforming it into a sustainable community.
