Built in Bangor town centre on a former barracks site the new centre sits comfortably within its architectural context. The design incorporates a double height reception area with roof lights illuminating the entrance. There is a pharmacy within the building which can be accessed out of hours and a facility for future expansion.

Bron Derw Medical Centre is a new build surgery with an integrated pharmacy.  The new building is built on the former site of a TA Drill Hall, close to the town centre.  The original Welsh slate roof from the drill hall was salvaged and reused on the new building.  Render finishes to the facade express a modern interpretation of local materials.

The accommodation includes five consulting rooms, trainee consulting, district nurses / health visitors and two treatment rooms.  The waiting area is a double height space with roof lights to provide a light airy atmosphere with natural ventilation.  The new building offers on site parking, expanded health facilities, a pharmacy and expansion space on a tight town centre site.
