Planning and conservation area approval for a mixed use fifty-four apartment building on the edge of Sunderland city centre.

This brownfield site is located on Nile Street within the Sunniside conservation area. The five storey design delivers a mix of first class residential apartments for a private client operating in the commercial sector. The ground floor has dedicated commercial space detailed in such a way that it could convert to further residential floor space subject to approval. The scheme provides one, two and three bedroom apartments for sale, each with en-suite. The vernacular is modern - contemporary, with glazed balconies and a sedum roof that assists an inner city attenuation design. Planning negotiations and detailed design development was greatly enhanced through BIMx modelling.
