Environmental improvements have promoted the transformation of the Edge Hill Conservation Area through sensitive and well considered intervention and public realm remodelling of this historic neighbourhood.

Our vision is to provide a kick start to the transformation of the conservation area into a highly desirable residential enclave on the edge of the city centre and to breathe new life into these high quality Georgian buildings.

The Edge Hill Conservation Area frames the historically important St Mary’s Church, a significant landmark in the city.  Our proposals bring forward a short term programme to improve spaces and boundaries to a heritage standard and enhance the setting of the listed buildings.  A longer term strategy has been put forward to follow highway improvements by the City Council.  Once these are complete it will be possible to re-unite the two currently divided parts of the Conservation Area.
