Local Authority
Halsall Lloyd Partnership is proud of its
long-standing and successful relationship with local authorities
throughout the North and Midlands. Since 1980 it has been
involved with design projects in virtually every aspect of
a council’s remit. From the early days designing accommodation
for homeless people, the practice progressed to housing and
estate regeneration, stock transfers, schools, community centres,
council offices, major landscape projects and public realm
works. More recently HLP has been leading the way with masterplanning
in Birmingham, Liverpool, Newcastle and Rossendale. Along the
way the practice has picked up many awards with such landmark
schemes
as Everton Surestart on Merseyside and the Severn Centre in
Highley, Shropshire; and the office of the Deputy Prime Minister
particularly singled out the Kensington Life Bank, a vibrant
new family lifelong learning facility in Liverpool, as a centre
of excellence.
